As I said, I am not convinced either side of the argument and I also think the militias and the countries change their policies rather quickly. Just look at the American reversal over JCPOA and that's a country which is supposed to have long term thinking.
Short term, the toppling of Assad did a grave harm to the Israel-Gaza conflict. Long term... who knows for sure but I am not ruling out Syria/Turkey will be hostile to Israel. We saw a video of the ex Israeli PM Naftali, who is likely to replace Netanyahu as the next PM, and who is concerned about the Turkish presence closer to Israel by the Sharrah takover.
BTW, since early 2010s in PDF, I was against the toppling of Assad and my posts are here to see. That's a 15 year history. You don't know me well enough.
