Does Chinese Navy escorts their oil tankers back to China to ensure the US Navy won't seize those ships in open waters around the Indian Ocean? That's war if USA dares to block oil to China.

It seems Iran preemptively attack all major naval and energy installations today after getting intelligence that the U.S./Israel were planning to do the same to Iran.

Iranian leadership has been attacked--both civilian and military--and many killed, as we know. So the personal safety should be a major concern and central planning is probably very difficult, thus there is the decentralized military responses and deployments.

In these circumstances, either Iranians have developed their own intelligence gathering and communication mechanism and/or they are being helped by some foreign countries?
