Why are you letting the US launch HIMARS from your country? Why are you giving them overflight? I swear sometimes the Arabs seem the dumbest strategists to have walked on this Earth. Did they really believe US was going to be their all weather ally?

Israel is attacking Iran's energy infrastructure quite deliberately. They want Iran to retaliate and destroy energy infra in thr GCC countries. This would widen the scope of war and ensure turmoil both in GCC and Iran. I have a feeling the US is allowing Israel to do this since EU countries have shown no interest in joining the conflict. Israel's goal is even more sinister than one can think. They don't care about the US or its bases or the US economy.

Highly unlikely, but in the end, If the US pulls out of the middle east, Israel will have a rise in status and fill in the vacuum and fulfil its goal of forming a greater Israel. Iran would've been weakened sufficiently by this point and wouldn't be able to help its proxies in the region who would get picked off by the Israelis.

As long as the regime is in power they can rebuild capabilities. The only goal to end this war is regime change or state collapse. Both scenarios seem unlikely imo.

Sure, They were not ordinary people, but they were also men above the age of 65 years old and in case of Supreme Leader he was 86 years old!

With such logic if they had instead peacefully retired then Iran would still have collapsed according to your theory.

In case of Larijani he is being replaced by a more hardline also over the age of 65 years old former nuclear negotiator.

Iran has MANY of these individuals. And naturally the ones that take OpSec seriously will survive and the ones who don’t and embrace martyrdom will die out. Selective Darwinism at its finest. The system will cleanse itself.

Obviously Israel is destroying all bridges to drawn all arabs to an open war.

It is time for the Arabs to STOP protecting Israel like they are at the moment(eg Jordan) and let Israel face the wrath of Iran. That is more likely to stop the war, then anything else.
