This could be wishful thinking on my part. But we need to analyze why Israel is hitting Irans energy infrastructure, as that is a massive escalaton.
We all know they are unhinged animals let out of a cage, but that cant be the sole reason, as they are acutely aware of the retaliation that will follow to other energy infrastructure in the region, which will affect global economy and inadvertenly themselves.
This tells me that Iran is either hitting critical military and strategic targets inside the occupied territories. Or the US is that desperate to end the war, and gave the israelis the green light to tap South Pars with a missile. Or a combination of both.
Either way, they bombing South Pars will undoubtedly hurt Irans economy and livelihoods of Iranians. But Iran bombing Qatars LNG will hurt them much more.
