I don't know what the learned Professor is talking about then. The interception rate isn't 4% to 5% by even the most cursory of glances. The destruction in Israel if 95% of Iranian missiles were getting through would have been enormous, not just the few buildings here and there we get to see.

Iran has performed well in other areas but Iranian missiles have not been able to make a dent on Israel the same way they did in 12 day war, so far. The Us and Israel bulked up on ABM to the maxx before launching this war.

Because most of targets are miliatry sites, radars etc which are usually far from cities and not crowded. If you have seen sat images from GCC, you would know about the pin point accuracy of iranian missiles.

Sadly No one release images from Israil immediately, otherwise we would know. Last night only two missiels brought havoc, close to the most protected area in israil.

There is no “140 million barrels” of Iranian oil floating on water. There is about 35 million barrels and they are parked off the Chinese coast waiting for the “teapot” refineries to call them into port.

I believe it is guaranteed that Iran will go the nuclear weapons route IF US or israel use any type of nuke on . Iran already has many of the "pieces" for a functional nuclear weapons infrastructure in place, so it wont be too hard for Iran to move to produce an actual nuclear weapon once the order is given.

One single factory that Iran help set up is the Yelabuga UAV Factory which can produce over 1,000 drones per month connected to a railway line taking weapons to the front lines quickly

Russia has over a dozen of these factories and some estimates suggest that Russia in can produce over 7,500 drones per month considering they are launching over 5,000 drones per month thats definitely believable

Russia now has a obligation to return the favour and help Iran with more of these drones I am sure they can spare a few 1000 per month to help Iran

Russian economy is now geared to a military industrial complex where over 25% of the GDP its dedicated to weapons production

there is no doubt Russia is help the Iranians in weapons and targeting

lets leave China out of this because if China turned its factories to military production their factories can outproduce Russia by a factor to 10 to 1

If Israel and the US use nuclear weapons it's game over for all of us. This should not be a realistic option. But with Trump and Netanyahu you never know.

It is getting more and more likely that tactical nukes may be used against certain targets, ??missile "cities". The narrative has taken root in western professional circles and there is not even the batting of an eyelid at this option. It is discussed plainly, as though one was popping to the shops to buy groceries. If it is deployed, the west will still cry at any retaliation by Iran, as though they should be quiet and put up with such a gruesome act.

This is why the rhetoric is becoming concerning now.

The Japanese were dehumanised thoroughly prior to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Iranians are similarly in a state of dehumanisation.

Folks should be under no illusions that Israel will easily deploy such a weapon or demand USA deploys one for them ahead of considering any off ramp that requires significant concessions to Iran on their part.

Another unrelated point to add - One of USA's probable but unspoken objectives in this operation (a secondary one, behind the defence of Tel Aviv's crimes) is to deprive Beijing of a major source of oil (having already locked up Venezuelan resourcse).

If USA fails in this particular endeavour, and China preserves the transit of oil from Iran for itself AND as a bonus, increases the market for Yuan based commodity/transit payments, China could emerge as a massive winner from this conflict. This is why I believe China is taking more and more active positioning in this conflict.

Iran hasn’t struck any part of Pakistan yet because the country does not host American bases nor provide her US allies any other support in this war. But this can change quickly once Pakistan enters the war on the Saudi side and thus against Iran.

If Pakistan or GCC enter the war against Iran formally and publicly, I am convinced iran will use the "ground option" against them.
