The US troops are amassing in the M.E., which is within the range of Iranian drones and missiles. What's stopping Iran from hitting them and stopping them in their tracks right now? I hope Iran does not repeat the mistake in their overconfidence that Saddam made during the Gulf War.

I think the purpose will be make it hard for troops to land on FoBs for ground assault ? and how is 300Megawatt is computed ? the energy released should be in KJoules or close to some metric of TNT explosion?
