Yes, I actually think that if Trump sends the US troops to the Middle East and more than a couple of hundreds of them get killed in action, the Republicans will lose the mid-term elections and the Democrats will impeach him.

I had seen a video of an F-18 strafing around Chahbahar (allegedy) last week. So definitely Manpads are in play. But with Twin engines, survivability increases. Looks like it made out of hostile territory atleast. May have ejected over water.
