So far looking at US Naval performance in this conflict, I do not see any Ground Invation happening anytime soon.

Until IRGC Navy and coastal defences are working, any land forces are just falling into a very carefully laid trap without any exit.

No matter how good and unnatural capabilities they have, they caan survive as long as possible but they can not achieve any objectives.

Longer it takes for the boots on ground, worst it gets for the US.

Nuclear weapons destructive force are Airburst weapons and do poorly at penetration depth when you cause the detonation on impact into mountain bedrock only gets tens of meters penetration. Radiation fallout would be less on a direct impact explosion vs airburst.

Assuming Iran’s operators have access to radioactive protective equipment and medicine. I have seen videos they have at least chemically resistant suits (HAZMaT) for liquid refueling in the tunnels . Important to note the radiation cloud would not stay static and would be taken by upper atmosphere winds to neighboring countries.

USA is like headless chicken right now. They are trying to show a brave and bold face while severely defeated in all aspects so far. While in the bacground they are crying and begging for ceasefire. this is the reality.

Statements from Trump, e.g. Iranians want him to be Sl but he refused. Can any sane person even mention in private gathering?

In this desperation, very first move will be uncontrolled idiotic use of USAF, than only a little window of opprtunity could be created for Para, while Iran will be silent for some time, may be hours ....but what next, who know Iran might have mined all the potential targets of land forces.

Afghanistan was somewhat similar landscape. Iran has more caves and carefully bult tunnels all around just for this purpose, so USAF can destry whatever is on surface, while IRGC having tea in their tunnels. we have seen this so far concerning missiles.

I am just yapping, but I do not see USA achieving anything during the time frame, before USA public start coming out, and very first state announce to be independent...Texas////
