I know this is going to be a unpopular thought, but Iran needs to hit out to UAE/Qatar/Saudi oil/gas fields and shut down Straights of Hormuz. Let the world feel the pain.

Otherwise Iran will be rolled over.

I think that is part of Israeli calculation and such action can fulfill its 30 year goal of a US-Iran prolonged war.
Iran's approach to tackling treacherous GCC was finding and helping allies elsewhere in mideast....the strategy derided as "proxies" by everyone else who is busy supporting proxies themselves.
