Agree - there is a proposal for a pipeline from Iran, but the USA keeps vetoing it( sanctions ) and Pakistan is not strong enough to go ahead with it in light of sanctions etc.

Should the war stop tomorrow, iran will have a lot of rebuilding to do, they can keep asking for compensation but we know they won't get any. And the longer they choke the Hormuz, the more chances they lose the world's sympathy and moral higher ground, a very fine line they have to tread and maintain balance.

They cannot block the Hormuz forever. And they too cannot sustain this war forever.
