Not at all, they saved Iran from a war of attrition. This would have been a pointless fight until Iran would have run out of missiles.

Iran can and will close the Strait after two weeks if the other side doesn't agree with the terms of the 'ceasefire' and would be able to bomb Israel as been happening in last 5 weeks.
