Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

A Pakistani source with knowledge of the discussions said Pakistan was working on a ceasefire for Lebanon, as well as for Yemen, another country where Israel has hit Iran-aligned forces: "It will be discussed during the (upcoming) talks and we will settle it."

I think Hormuz strait opening won't even discussed in Saturday because Iran position is clear: if you want to sail strait you must pay a good fee and previous strait situation of free pass won't NEVER come back.

So negotiations will be about stop launching missiles and drones attacks, and remove sanctions.

But Iran position about strait tollbooth is pretty clear, a huge defeat for USA.

USA accepted the tollbooth because they know there is no way in hell to avoid it.

Iran will always have a tiny team willing to launch an attack to anyone sailing without pay the fee. Even if a full war catastrophic war happens.

It's the good part of drones and missiles program, you don't need specially brave people, just someone able to deploy a launcher and push a button 👍😂.

France

Received a warm and substantive telephone call from President Emmanuel Macron, this afternoon.

President Macron graciously congratulated Pakistan
on its sincere efforts in facilitating the ceasefire between Iran and the United States, and for helping bring both sides to the negotiating table.

I deeply appreciate his kind words as well as his good wishes for the success of the upcoming peace talks in Islamabad.

Pakistan will continue to work with its partners and friends, including France to ensure that this opportunity leads to a durable and lasting peace.

We also shared serious concern over the ongoing aggression in Lebanon and underscored the urgent need to end the violence and loss of innocent lives, so that peace may be restored across the region.

Trump can launch a despicable surprise attack on Iran anytime and threaten a ceasefire whenever he wants. What reason is there to refrain from another war under these conditions? I am astonished by the naivety of those who believe this will bring peace. All the ceasefire conditions have already been overturned in a single day. I suspect Saturday's negotiations will simply be the day when Ghalibah signs the surrender document and it is revealed that he was a Mossad agent. It is too unnatural that Ghalibah is the only one not targeted for assassination by Israel.

The reformist coup of Iran is completed. Mojtaba falls in the same path as his father. And people wonder why most of Lebanon outside of the Shiite populations of South Lebanon have negative views of Iran.

Renowned American journalist Kathy Gannon, while praising Pakistan in her column, has written that
"The art of making deals is neither with the US government nor with the Iranian government. The real art lies with Pakistan."
"Pakistan is in the best position between the warring parties and is not weightless itself — it carries nuclear weight."

As I have said multiple times in this forum: Two things work best in Pakistan. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry and the Pakistan Airforce.

Quick reminder: Iran is not dependent on mobile missiles launchers and tunnel entrances!

And as far as I know, Iran hasn't used them yet. They are likely the backup, either if the missile cities become unsusable or if Iran wants to drastically escalate in a large surprise attack.

You exagerate... really

Honestly, I have always wondered about this strange relation Iran has with US. I tend to sometimes think that, previously both US and Iran were trying to fool satanyahu not to start what he started.

Anyhow, I have called this US israeli aggression illegal, multiple times now.

Motive? Territory?
Nope, out of fear and to stop the export of revolution to territories under his control.

I believe Qasim Solemani did threaten war on Pakistan. Well Iran certainly played its full role (using Pakistani canon fodder to keep the region in turmoil and infighting). Did it try to bring warring factions to negotiation table? No it actively sent its personnel to participate in the conflict(s).

Invasion is not necessarily boots on ground.

In my initial post, I was kind of trying to say that, if iran has already nullified Late Ali Khamenei's decree, so what is stopping them now? If they can enrich one, sure, but that will surely kick start a race in the region. Again they will have to face consequences of their choices and their decisions.
Iran going nuclear is not happening for a long while. Israel propaganda convinced Trump to attack Iran. Their sites were heavily damaged. The west doesn't know where the enriched uranium is located or it even exists - ambiguity!!!

EU calling for ceasefire to extend to Lebanon

Kaja kallas is Europe's harlot for the u.s., as is van Der leyen, she holds no power and isn't even knowledgeable of politics....

Besides, if there is one thing they've all learned 'bout Iran is that they always have a backup person to the backup person.
If the FM of Iran is taken out..., they'll just bring in someone else.
But in the process, the Jews will have shot themselves in the foot.
So, I doubt there will be any issue them flying to Pakistan.

I agree with your post.
I don't see any govt is going to sabotage a very high stake trip where the US VP himself is flying to Pakistan. Such sabotage will be traced and there will global wrath against that nation because the world is really sick and tired of this war. Having said that, my fear is the filthy rats from segments of Afghanistan and their ideological brothers in Pakistan: They would love to humiliate Pakistan given any chance.
