All Iran has to do is get its deal with individual countries like Korea and Japan, charge them tolls, and let them pass, what happen after Hormoz is between these "allies" of America and Trump admin. it will such a lose lose situation for Trump if he endup impounding Korean, Japanese and god forbid, Chinese vessels.

Looks like that is the way is going. He says that any ship that pays the Iranians will be seized, and the Iranians will only passage a ship that pays their toll.

We're headed for a total oil blockade.

When the Muslims expanded centuries ago, we had thinkers who established themselves in almost all the strategic areas of the known world

If the Muslim world was united we could tie up the world , we have a massive 2 billion+ population, critical resources, vital strategic control of vital areas

Everything to become a world power

And yet we have Jews and idol worshippers making eyes at us

If Muslims, even if we exclude Arab states in the Persian Gulf, were united, no power could've dictated their values and decisions to us.

Strait of Hormuz, Strait of Malacca, Strait of Gibraltar, the Suez Canal, the Bab-el Mandeb, Strait of Bosphorus, we literally have everything we need to control the world's economy, besides our abundant energy resources.

Like all US actions for last 40+ days, this would backfire too. Iran is enjoying its strategic success. It will not give away that easily. Either pay reparations or pay tolls.

The blockade over a blockade is dumbest action by the US. Iran got all the time of the world. US and global economy do not have such luxury. Iran is used to live under sanctions and tough conditions, it was selling a fraction of oil if compared to GCC. Real loss is of GCC in this blockade.

You will see in a few days, Trump will announce that he is opening the blockade. The shipments passing with tolls are much better for global economy than no shipment.

Iran needs to use the SOH leverage to get these countries to open up trade with it and go neutral v US. Squeeze and make them squel they didnt care when it wasn't affecting them now all of a sudden care.

As for trumpys blockade Iran should stop all traffic. Trumpy will have no choice but to invade, defeat their ground forces and ensure they achieve no objectives may ultimately lead to Israel being reigned in and a non aggression pact signed.

Irans on the cusp if becoming a major player or falling over making the wrong calls and becoming like the rest that resisted the empire.

Iran should introduce a resolution in UNGA (since UNSC will be vetoed anyways) to condemn the attacks on Iran and only allow ships of countries who vote in favor of this resolution, not even to absentees.
