Why the Interior Minister of Pakistan Mohsin Naqvi accompanying the Field Martial to Tehran? Naqvi is responsible for security inside Pakistan; you could say he is like the FBI Chief and/or counter terrorism domestic guy like the recently resigned Joe Kent.
I am sure the security of the future arrival of the Iranian delegation to Pakistan will be extremely important given Israel can be a spoiler any second so maybe connected with that.

As much of a diplomatic win itd be to host trump in Pakistan itd be a big challenge, if hes coming he better have already signed a deal with iran and not pull any stunts

What technology sanctions have been lifted that allows Pakistan to access technology, IP at the same level at India? India can access dual use technology now that Pakistan can only dream of.
What US financial sanctions have been lifted that allow US payment providers to operate in Pakistan? Paypal?
The USA continues to place newer, and newer sanctions on Pakistan for both its missile programme, nuclear programme yet it coninues to transfer those same technologies to India.
I could go on and on.. Nothing fundamentally important has changed. Pakistan has not caught up to have the same access and be treated the same as India by the state institutions of the USA.
We need to get past the "obsession with F16s", and military weapons to actually see the technology access and transfer advantage that India has, that Pakistan has not caught up with.

Hezbollah MP Ibrahim al-Moussawi told Reuters that Iran is using its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz as leverage to push for a ceasefire in Lebanon, applying heavy pressure on the United States and insisting that Lebanon be included in any agreement.
He added that Tehran has warned it will continue the blockade unless Lebanon is incorporated into the ceasefire framework, and has opened communication channels with multiple regional and international parties to advance this goal.

We would go on a tangent here but suffice to say that the Washington's love for India was/is a quarter century old and the warming up to Pakistan started barely 14-15 months ago. And, please, don't underestimate the upgrades of the 70+ F16s.
You had specifically targeted the Field Martial and I had to clarify that no matter who would be in power in Pakistan in last quarter century, the Americans didn't care.
