Really? You really think he's backing down? He's delaying not backing down likely doing it for Pakistan FM which ask Orangeman for a delay and likely use this time to get CVN Bush in position and other assets.Trump backed down
but maintains his blockade
this status quo is not ideal for either side, but it seems the US found its answer to Iran closing the Strait
In a weird way the war provided more pressure, crude oil prices were hiking now the uncertainty around war or peace is making the price bounce but not over $100. This slows the intensity of the conflict and makes it more stomach-able for trumpy but it also makes it economically harder for Iran. Saying that atleast Iran isnt being bombed I was reading potentially 2m people may have lost work in Iran due to the infrastructure damage which is huge.Trump backed down

The government isn't helping either. Iran is in a complete digital blackout since February 29th. A lot of people in the IT industry have lost their jobs because the internet has been cut off. So, I suppose part of that 2 million people are the people involved in the IT sector, particularly coders and network specialists, etc.In a weird way the war provided more pressure, crude oil prices were hiking now the uncertainty around war or peace is making the price bounce but not over $100. It will cost US billions a week to keep the blockade…. Plus tonnes of resources will be wasted….. and US has more to lose if Iran is self reliant on food (majorly)Trump backed down

yesterday he said he would not extend the ceasefire, and will return to bombing, in his latest pathetic attempt to force Iran to submit to his insane demandsReally? Now, will turkey stop the oil supply to Israel from Azerbaijan through its land ?
There isn't much we can do, we can't protect tankers in the Indian ocean. The ceasefire has taken economic pressure off the US, gas prices has been falling here. As long as US ships stay out of missile range and occasionally catch Iranian ships, time is on their side until it isn't. Iran may just have to wait it out for the coming months and wait for the world cup and mid-terms.It is worse for Iran for sure. Iran needs to do something about the US blockade.
I don't think we can wait it out. The situation will get pretty bad for Iran if the US imposes a blockade on our imports/exports. Even if our oil gets exported without trouble, there's still the issue of things like ammonium perchlorate that we need for our solid-fueled rockets. There isn't much we can do, we can't protect tankers in the Indian ocean.
