International law died with the Soviet Union. The US no longer had to pretend to care about the world or its own people at that point.

This exactly is it. He's a bully always been one. Literally Biff from back to the future. The policy of the US to never let a non White nation strike White nations first or seem to be standing up man to man to them. Its in their mental doctrine because they have convinced themselves and the world that no one will dare attack them especially from a brown Islamic country. The perception does the majority of the battle and the military part just sweeps in and does completes the mopup.
Their whole civilization is in gloves with this doctrine. Iran is using Chinese or Russian satellites to get targets, Pakistan uses Chinese planes to shoot down indian planes. Their media emasculate their enemies in a very deep level ie emasculation of Asian men thereby influencing Asian women to marry White men etc. Downplaying accomplishments and brainwashing are some of the tools.

As long as it is prepared for the inevitable retaliation that would come right after.

It is better to live to fight another day, as a general geopolitical rule.
 
In case no one has called Trump 'DeRh Hushyar' as in Urdu language: He is one. Too Clever by Half. Thinking the typical Art of Deal would work in a region like the Middle East is delusional. May work in Africa or Latin America but not in Eurasia. The Eurasian Jungle is a different ball game: It is the center of the human civilization.

One thing about taco boy when he says we will attack normally they do, so trumps given advance warning. Iran should preemptively strike and dictate war on its terms. No point playing mr nice guy, go tor maximum damage this is only language trump understands.

Restart of war will likely be airstrikes again. Ground forces in this heat they will be cooked....unless they have help inside Iran or from its neighbours.

There is useful information in his usual ranting, he doesn't consider the price of oil high at this time. Ending strikes on regional energy infrastructure was a mistake.

No need for massive pre emptive strikes .. just close bab el mandab ( suez canal) and keep lunching attacks on UAE and Israel.
Saudia backed down and won't join any attacks.

I would agree with you but the timing isn't right, it's the World cup and targeting U.S land during that would be kinda foolish, we need the world to stand beside iran not against it.

So they hit Tehran and Iran is not allowed to hit New York because it need the world to stand besides it?

The world besides the US and Israel will feast and party over New York being bombed and thank Iran for doing it. Everyone, all of Asia, Europe, south America, Africa, Canada, everyone will thank Iran

The world will be relieved when New York and Miami explodes, just like they were when Tel Aviv was in flames
