That would be a huge blunder, similar to the US Embassy hostages episode. North Korea has China as a neighbor, no oil and no Israel in its region. Certainly countries can borrow some pages from the North Korea playbook, but it's not a model for anyone sane.

What you hid in your South Asia was primarily India... and India has plateaued it's purchases from US eventhough this was the primary push from US... buy US crude to cut the trade deficit. You just repackaged it to your own liking.

The Americans attacked Iran twice (2025 and 2026) during middle of negotiations. They also attacked Iran during the cease-fire. Does that show the US is desperate for negotiations or a deal, or they've successfully imposed a stick and carrot policy against Iran?

Nobody can enforce the US to honor its side of the deal, and Iran certainly isn’t going to restart attacking US bases because of sanctions. Looks like we’re back to square one but with a new leadership in Iran. What do you guys think?
