Demand adjustment to new price. This is the magic of markets. When price touches $5, a lot of optional driving goes down. Fewer people are taking vacations using long flights. Preferring to go to nearby places. For the first time in over 2 decades, we took a train and enjoyed it. One other thing: those who were pooh-poohing EVs all these days are suddenly keen on EVs, Hybrids, PHEVs etc., I am even seeing more electric two wheelers.

many users speculated that the attack on Jordan would have caused casualties. also, how have they lost a soldier from the base? did the missiles bury him underground or something?

Maybe the last attack on the fuel tanks or whatever incinerated his body will take time to sift through the burnt out area especially if it’s still on fire curious if Jordanian troops got caught in the blast as well

Seems awfully strange for it to hit troop housing and only 3 die and 4 get injured. Just like when the U.S. attacked Iranian barracks and Iran lost “only” 7 soldiers.

So one can conclude the base was likely either mostly evacuated and running with a skeleton crew at night time or many soldiers sleeping in makeshift bunkers at night. Some may have chosen not to or couldn’t escape to a bunker in time and paid the price.

CENTCOM says the wounded soldiers were taken to Jordanian hospitals and have since been discharged, and “other personnel who were evaluated for minor injuries have returned to duty.”

So this was almost a mass casualty event on American troops

Imagine dying to protect the epstein class, that has to be one of the most dishonorable deaths, i say good fking riddance no one will remember you, the more american criminals are killed the better for whole of humanity.

A train. You mean, "public transport"... Ohhh the horror of it!!! ( lol ).

What this war has taught everyone is that electric + solar panels, large batteries are the way to go.
 
I really doubt only 2 soldiers were killed inside a barrack

If the US response is disproportionate, then its likely the impact killed more soldiers

It will lead to long term recession which is more costly than higher oil prices in long time ....

Even these current oil price just shows global economy growth is already started to become slower ...
