Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Doesn't look like Trump has changed his mind.

Was thinking the same thing Iran can’t walk back on enrichment otherwise they lose all credibility even if the the facilities are currently operational or not.
Iran can’t give up missiles or limit their range or stockpiles because they will lose any deterrence they have for the future.
Trump can’t walk back down unless he’s assured American companies will make billions in any nuclear and energy agreements even if Iran still has enrichment capabilities as long as American companies are there making most of the money but I highly doubt it

brother, the game is not about oil or resources.
This is a RELIGIOUS WAR , always has been, these zions and their european supporters alongwith anglo-saxon have always been at War with Islam (think crusades that never actually ended)

The final goal is to finish off the muslim/arab nations and capture their resources while finishing/enslaving the muslim countries financially and culturally.......Iran and Pakistan and KSA are in their way....so they're making final efforts to destroy and remove the threats

Honestly wasn’t think that deep but I was thinking about you to be fair…….

What can Iran possibly offer to the Americans to stop the war? Handing over enriched uranium? Ceasing the civil Iranian nuclear program? Curbing the number and range of its ballistic missiles? End its support for the Houthis and Hezbollah? Abandoning Iraq? Would the IRI leadership accept a dictated peace? Is the IRGC ready for its Treaty of Versailles?

It doesn't make sense to me unless they genuinely and truly have surrendered.
What options do they have ? Why Are you pushing them to the precipice ?

Its sad, primitive and pathetic that they are forcing so much to make people think protest are still ongoing when they ended nearly a month ago
Still massive online propaganda ...check msn.com ... OneIndia role in this online war...India is on the front foot.

Around 2am Iran time all is quiet which means not going to happen this weekend I think when the 2nd carrier is in position then the weekend proceeding its arrival we'll likely see something.

I believe the Bodyguards survived because they were in other cars. I believe it was only 2 cars maybe 3 in his entourage. I don’t even think any were in the car with him because his wife was sitting next to him. Maybe someone was in the back, unclear since details are murky.

1 car went to bomb check the villa. Then (if you believe the Western story) a pick up truck was broken down on the side of the road and then a tarp was pulled off revealing an high caliber machine gun turret controlled by operator in Israel via Satellite and killed him. Some say he got out after his car was “disabled” then was shot. But pictures appear to show a different story.

The fact that Israel knew his schedule so well and entourage details that they didn’t feel the need to resort to the classic motorcyclist with a sticky bomb tactic or a crew using a drone or PGM strike, means that it was only a matter of time they got the opportunity to use a less collateral damage technique.

I have been in Iran and seen up armoured Mercedes VIP vehicles pass on the highway. So they do exist in the country, but likely limited and tied to high political officials only.

Nonetheless there isn’t any reason Iran Khodro or any other Iranian car manufacturer couldn’t manufacture a bullet resistant, bomb resistant vehicle for critical VIPs in iran at a reasonable cost. Also the cars can be equipped with high frequency jammers to block any cell or Satellite signal enough to disrupt IEDs or electronic controlled weapons.

There are car makers that can produce SUVs that are even explosion resistant to a direct RPG hit. But again, Iran simply doesn’t take care of its personnel. This is well documented behavior. Fakhrizadeh himself was old and been in hiding since his name first came up in early 2000’s in negotiations for interviews. I doubt he cared much if he was killed anymore.
agree

though he was old he was still very active and important in SPND. these scientists in their 50s and 60s are at the peak of their accumulated wisdom and knowledge and take a long time to replace

a bit different to military generals who can have outdated theories of war and who are not actively developing new products themselves, in that case being slightly younger is not that big of a deal. though the old guard were 60-70 and the new guard are the same age, so no changes there.

Iran says that what America says in private negotiations and what they say publicly about their terms are different

Iran will not agree to the US' publicly defined conditions for a deal, even after weeks of harsh war

Trump doesn't understand that Khamenei will not bow to this pressure

Iran can give up the enriched uranium and agree to temporary and voluntary cessation of enrichment (not enriching now anyway), perhaps if there is a regional enrichment plan (quite difficult to agree). but no more than this. and this would not satisfy the Americans, who want Iran to agree to limits of its only tool for self defence against Israel (MRBMs), which no nation would ever agree to, unless they are defeated in a total war and have no choice. this would likely require boots on the ground in Iran and I am not convinced Trump is willing to do that.

could be just stall tactics but they give up enrichment

They have already given up enrichment albeit not by consent. Iran has not enriched uranium since June. That’s 7 months ago. The longer they don’t enrich, the more risk there is that offering ‘no enrichment’ doesn’t work because the West will say you haven’t enriched in 2 years (for example).

Even if Iran wanted to start enrichment tomm, it would take time to rebuild centrifuges and do installation and inspections, Its honestly doubtful Iran could begin enrichment within 12 months even with no threat of U.S./Israeli attack. The most logical spot to do enrichment would be Pick Axe mountain, but it’s still not complete and requires centrifuges that we don’t know if Iran has spares of in significant quantities of IR-4 or IR-6.

If I was them I would get any centrifuges left in storage up and running in Natanz-2 (Pick Axe mountain site) as well as laser enrichment in several undeclared sites across the country (harder to detect if above ground)

Yeah I still think pick axe could be their Trojan horse in plain sight but who knows like you say
