Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Iran said no to total dismantlement of nuclear program

But said yes to cap uranium enrichment

And negotiations are still ongoing, so who knows where it might all end up after all?

That's easy for you to say. You're not in Iran. Iran is alone, and unfortunately it has played a foolish strategy. The supreme leader is not a chess master, and he has steered Iran in the wrong direction. And now Iranians have to deal with the fallout.. If we are to keep Iran intact, we must make a deal, a deal that will let us come back and beat back our enemy at another time. We have no money....we have no Nato on our side, we have to understand that we are in a bad position. But, if we play our cards right, we can come out of this. The US is playing tough, but we all know they don't want a war....they cannot afford a war. Thanks to our Muslim breatherns that paid for those costly wars with their lives.
So, we must approach this with caution, let them know, we are ready to go to war.......a real war, a war that will not spare any country in the region, if they attack us. But at the same time offer an off ramp, so Trump can look like a winner......end of story. Sometimes the bad guys win.
Agree with your post. The problem is Israel and its repulsive influence on the US. If the Israelis see a deal advancing they are likely to again launch an attack and then drag the US into the war. It's the Israelis who are demanding the impossible conditions from the US vis a vis the ballistic missile program and I don't think the GOP is at the point where Obama was in his second term, where the Dem party just pushed the establishment aside on Iran and Cuba.

So I think it's possible we still see some fireworks and then a deal is made later this year or next, once the GOP realizes there isn't a military or CIA solution to Iran.

Is there any chance for this to happen. If yes, then everything is well and truly finished.

Agreeing to one demand means they will move onto making the second demand. So, it'll be back to square one, keeping Iran under pressure perpetually.

They should not be in a position to make any demands or at least, Iran has such a backing from China/Russia that it can withstand any US/EU demands.

Iran, for whatever reason has voluntarily agreed to stringent IAEA monitoring. It's baffling.

US is still probably stubborn and forcing with its total surrender terms

Both sides will try to gain as much advantage as possible, while giving up as little as possible. That is how it goes.

Unless they understand that failure to fight will only lead to annihilation, it is regrettable but iran will share the fate of Iraq, Libya, and Syria, ultimately facing national disintegration and partitioned occupation.
Since Vietnam, only Afghanistan has successfully defended its territory against a U.S. invasion.
Every nation that did not fight to the end has had its territory torn to shreds and been plunged into perpetual failure. This truly is the last chance. Should Iran's leadership once again compromise and sell off national sovereignty, it will spell the end not just for the Islamic Revolutionary regime, but for Persian history itself, dating back to the Achaemenid Empire.

"News" on X, Reuters, Axios etc is all made up/invented by hat-people from their office/basement. Depending on their goals, they type their wishes, their policy, their threats, their lies in these "news articles".

i think iran has given up on nukes , rightly so because now it impossible to make one , and they are trying to protect the missile program by giving up on HEU , which imo is the correct strategy

Right.
Anyone saw the CNN interview of Mr. Aragchi yesterday must have noticed how quickly he dismissed the idea of getting nukes but basically called it impossible to give up long range missiles, which is Netanyahu's demand.
Over the last few days watching the media, it appears like President Trump, too, doesn't want a frontal war and is willing to put some pressure on Netanyahu but it remains to be seen what's going to happen. Analysts say that Iran still retains considerable missiles to inflict damage on Israel and other entities in the region.

That would be an interesting proposition to negotiate for both sides, under the circumstances.

Which enriched material are we going to ship ? According to stupid mass of posters here, everything "nuclear" already got destroyed by US in 12 day war LOL.

This is nothing else but post war US/Israeli propaganda, even the US acknowledges the uranium is still there

If a theatrical exchange happens between USN and IRGCASF at the end or middle of talks. That will be the signal of deal/understanding happening without Israels involvement. Current pressure on Trump is immense from AIPAC/IAC jew lobbies around him, something might be planned mutually.

Missile program is too deep and strong to be touched. Khamenei did a verbal service 15 years ago with limitations on ranges so warhead sizes were "shown" to be higher as compensations for ranges. An example is K-4 PBV/MarRV listed by IISS as 3500 KM ranging borderline IRBM with regular warhead size (0.7 Tonne) but IRGC started listing it as 2000 KM with 2 Tonne warhead. TEL deployed ICBM program or capabilities got disguised as SLVs etc. Similar thing might happen again to calm Jews down.
