Israel's folly of attacking Qatar was similar to Modi's blunder of attacking Pakistan in May 2025. Both Pakistan and Iran benefit from those blunders.
I am personally not into religious thinking but I do believe there are strategic alliances based on religious ties being shaped in the larger Middle East and I believe the Pakistan-Iran ties are rapidly getting stronger, coming to the ties like Pakistan-China and Pakistan-Saudi Arabia and Pakistan-Turkey. And I don't see how some 'secular' govt in Iran is going to change that because Pakistan-Iran ties are being formed between the people of two countries.
India doesn't matter in this beyond what the large Indian economy can provide to Iran. In fact, India is King Joffrey of Game of Thrones: Nobody likes India!

They will not. Im sure Khamanei is serious by saying "Nukes are against the values of Islam" and he will take this stance to his grave. Iran will not finish/test a nuke, as long as Khamanei is the Supreme Leader.
A scenario that is not so far fetched anymore could be (ironically):

They kill somehow Khamanei and the new (already appointet) replacement leader will asap allow the finalization and test of a Nuke.

This interview would never be allowed to happen in a real country with a real security apparatus.

He's actually right, Khameneist policy for the last 20 years literally goes against human rationality. His anti-missile/anti-nuke policies only makes sense if he expected god to fight his war against the west for him.
