Doesn't this remind us of the Iraq and Afghanistan war failures? That's a classic military vulnerability US military has- inability to actually possess and use effective forces to manage and control conquered territory in foreign countries. With no ground troops in Iran ,(which I've heard opposite also- that US has 50k ground forces nearby the ME)US has little chance of controlling anything important in Iran.

Iran will do a preemptive missile strike in the region, soon. I want to be on record here saying I believe it will happen. Not that its 100% certain, but i think underestimating Iran,and its awareness of the situation in the region and with US,may prove to be naive,in some weeks ,or months, which to me makes the chance Iran will initiate a strike to be higher than many expect. Iran went on the offensive in the AL Qaiq oil sites in Saudi and in many other operations like the ones against ISIS, so Iran can and will likely preemptively strike, because its its best timing for war and chance to come out of it in the best shape possible.
