Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

That's not what I was trying to say.
They were aware that an attack was about to happen. I believe that all the leaders in Iran are safe and sound. They have to take their time to figure out how serious this attack is and respond in the right way.
Naturally, they need to take action as well. However, not launching missiles immediately after the first hits doesn't show any weakness.

Just like what Pakistani attack on Afghanistan yesterday signaled by attacking the Afghan Taliban leadership to say a point of no return had been reached, if this Israeli attacks kills top level Iranian officials then this is not another tit for tat like it was arranged at the end of the 12 Day war in June 2025.

These attacks will go on for weeks/months.

Now is the time to see how prepared Iran is. For weeks upon weeks, people and countries have been warning Iran for an imminent strike. Let us hope they've learned the lessons in the past and have prepared for this.

You can't really "prepare" for USAF with all it's assets & bases in the ME unless you're china or something
Just hope that they survive without too much unnecessary bloodshed

Anything else would just be a bonus

This is a golden opportunity for China, if Iran sinks an aircraft carrier and downs a few jets, it may rally US public support for an escalation, and potential land invasion (most likely southern coast area of Iran), this would get the US into quicksand, opening opportunities for China.
