If Pakistan is actually fighting its own war then it probably is not obligated to help the Saudis if the Saudis are not materially helping Pakistan.

Likewise if the Saudis are not actually at war then no reason to invokr

Unsure, but if that is the case with so many caveats then the pact is basically meaningless....

On topic tho.

This is a bad move for Trump, considering there is a major event in the US in 6 months (FIFA World Cup), this strike won't do much, but will attract attacks onthe US during events like this. Not sure if Iran was thinking about it before now, orif they can actually pull it off, but they are probably going to look at this now.

This isn't going to stir a hard threat on the US, but a soft target? That's another story
