For all intents and purposes, the UK is actively involved in operations against Iran.

There is no such thing as "defensive" operations within the current context. If you are actively shooting down Iranian weapons, you are an active military combatant, or not, and it looks like the UK is unfortunately..

Remember when Iran’s military announced they were going to buy T-90. Then suddenly the commander was made to publically backtrack it days later and say “we have no need for T-90, we will make it ourselves”. He was publicly humiliated by the factions.

Then we got a Karrar tank unveiling a short while later.

Tell me what happened to that project? How many tanks were built?

You know what happened, they created a prototype and then pocketed the money for the project amongst themselves instead of spending it on Russian arms.

Now rinse and repeat this and you will find out how a country that spend $30B a year on military for years, has predator drones flying all across its airspace.

I believe they receive an annual budget they have to spend. If they don’t spend all of it, they will get less the next year. They can’t buy advanced systems, because Russia won’t offer it. They are presented with a list of useless options, pay a premium «due to sanctions» and probably split the premium with the Russians. Sometimes they do what you say, spend the money on useless prototypes, exaggerate the expenses, give contracts to themselves and pocket as much as they can.

Seems like IRGCASF has a plan. They targeted the biggest EW radar on earth to disable the EW multisensor target identifying capability that provides real time search and track data to Israelis layered ABM/AD shield.
