How come the strait closure was announced by IRGC/Sepah's naval branch and not Iran's navy? Overall the question is why Iran's conventional branches (Artesh, Air Force, Navy) aren't in the limelight? It was like this in last year's war too...

US and Israel have lost trust of Arab states. GCC will not be happy that they were targeted. It's as if US and Israel want to show GCC they're vulnerable so may as well double down on Abraham Accords. It will have opposite effect.

As I said in my previous post, this lesson China and Russia teach to GCC, that any type of war, the US won't be able to protect them. These bases inside their countries are actually controlling them, not to protect them from any foreign invasion. Here US lost its trust so badly as super power and thanks to Isreal who put US in this situation.

Trump floats the idea of giving Iran a off ramp of “don’t rebuild” and the policy of “mow the grass” in a few years if they do.

I think that’s the goal right now if Khamenai is dead. For his successor to agree to not rebuild the missile program or nuclear program and capitulate.

As I was saying before war kicked off, it will be hardest to break defense shield around and in Israel more than anything else. About 150 more missiles should be start of Israeli interception rate going down progressively.
