Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Urgent | Omani Maritime Security Center: Targeting of an oil tanker flying the Palau flag approximately 5 nautical miles from Musandam in #Oman

Unfortunately, Iran has ended up following the exact same fate as Hamas and Hezbollah.
They start out making bold statements, but as their leaders and key figures are assassinated one after another, those with the will to fight disappear. Their actions become passive, and ultimately, they gradually abandon the fight and surrender.
A strong leader is absolutely essential for any nation or organization.

Military, of course. Do read up about the offensive and defensive firepower that a USN CBG has.

There is a reason why no aircraft carrier has been sunk (or even hit) since WW2.
That's because it hasn't experienced saturation attacks from newly invented modern Hypersonic ASBMs yet... Like DF-17...

That’s it. China used to export revolution but got little in return. Iran has wasted too much on the so-called arc of resistance than its own people
Must say , it was well planned, First they cut off the tentacles: Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon etc then they went for the head: Iran. Iranians didn't realise they are facing lawless foes for who all atrocities are kosha.

Like, I'm not even in the military, but even I know relying only on BMs as an offensive force is fragile when the enemy has air superiority. Why can't Iran's leaders try to address this before making such big statements only to then disappoint people when they failed to deliver?

That's because the US or any country with aircraft carriers have n't faced an opponent that had the ability to sink aircraft carriers. In war "never" is always a possibility; who would have thought that 6 Rafales could have been shot down by PAF?
And the US is still not facing such an opponent - one that can sink an A/C.

But OK, we'll both wait to find out if that will happen, except in your feverish dreams.

Can SM-3 Interceptors really intercept a Mach 6-10 Hypersonic ASBM?

Sounds like BS if you say even such a speed can't penetrate the "defensive firepower that a carrier battle group has"...
I'll wait for the news that an American aircraft carrier has been sunk.

Wake me up when that happens.

(As if our sea warriors haven't gamed that scenario.)

My advice to you is simple - wait for it to happen, and then - and only then - boast about it.

Sinking an AC is definitely difficult. Even if Iranians manage to cause " high risk manouvers " denying the AC free operations is a win.
