China needs an opportunity and going to war early is never wise, the US in history never went to war far from their land. Only until WW1 and WW2 did the US actively went to war aboard. In addition, Iran needs to prove that they are willing to fight until the end. Ukraine proved that when they resist Russia even when Russia troops literately at the gate of Kiev. If Iran can fight like that, weapon will find their ways to Iran, like the Taliban

Why does America love Israel so so much.

They love israel more then a Parent loves their children

For several reasons:

• Israel basically controls the US establishment,I should say Jews in the US maybe. Although they will try to tell you "Jews are only 2% of the US population",they are however connected in the most strategic positions: Finance,media,entertainment, art and politics. You'll findmoguls,buisenessmen,actors,journalists/reporters, investors and producers,doctors of all kinds,authors,political activists and think tanks.
• Because of the big Evangelical Protestant population the US has which is obssesed with Israel

• And finally,I think USA would not want a nuclear Iran as it would only be a threat under a mullah government which preaches "Death to America" or would at the very least be a headache,if you also think of their friendship and alliance with Russia.

China is a winner only if Iran not ends up pro-US/Israel regardless change of Iranian gov or not, otherwise China is a loser in the game. Also. people have to get out the fallacy as propagated by some Westerners that China is lucky winning the world literally by doing nothing. Even if the current government in Iran is overthrowed and a new, pro-West government will be created by the US and Israel, what will follow next> Can it stand by itself?

Can the US afford to continuously pump money into Iran to support that new government. As the governance model of Western-style democracy is no longer so appealing. If the economic situation cannot improve, which I doubt with any "democracy" government created by the West, it will fall, or change their attitude, just like in Iraq.
