Pehlavi isn't even popular with the liberals. His supports number in the thousands, and 90% live over seas.

Besides, the IRGC remains in firm control, the government structure is still intact.

The only transition that's going to happen is going from one IRGC backed leadership to another IRGC backed leadership.

The real question to ask here is not if Iran has anything to lose at this point, but what is there for Iran to gain at this point?

93 million people cannot disappear overnight, so there must be a future for Iran as a state after the war.

China and North Korea share a land border. And it was Red China that intervened in the Korean War, not China today.

But @jamal18 says all those US bases in the PGCC countries were already "evacuated"of US military personnel before the Iranian strikes on them occurred.i don't trust that those 20+ US bases that were recently hit were fully evacuated before the strikes.

The issue is why would Iran attack a nation that's not actively participating in open aggression? A nuclear one with a powerful navy with a carrier fleet at that?

All gloves should come off now. They are all ganging up against Iran. Iran needs to make Israel pay a very hefty price.
