French aircraft carriers are not very well protected. The UK ones are even worse than the French, and USA ones interms of self protection by both the A/C itself, as well as the carrier groups.

The US government is giving more protection to Israel than their own troops.

This is a fact. They deployed many more Patriot and Thaad batteries in Israel than for US bases.

But @jamal18 says all those US bases in the PGCC countries were already "evacuated"of US military personnel before the Iranian strikes on them occurred.i don't trust that those 20+ US bases that were recently hit were fully evacuated before the strikes.

The issue is why would Iran attack a nation that's not actively participating in open aggression? A nuclear one with a powerful navy with a carrier fleet at that?
