Off topic but Pakistan is China's western fort, a cheap investment against India, a live lab for Chinese weaponry, a sales person for China's arms industry, and indeed a route to the richer regions of the world like Europe and the Middle East.
China may not directly come to Pakistan's aid but will definitely help Pakistan anything short of direct involvement. I believe Pakistan is capable of fighting on its own with a little indirect help from a few friendly countries.
