Iran is a nation of 93 million as big as western Europe

So not only does the U.S need 1-5 million invasion force

It needs MONTHS of preparation time near by without the Iranians hitting them



They could do that against Iraq because Iraq had very little to target the coalition

They can't do that against Iran, or Pakistan for that matter
