They are aiming at important infrastructure in Israel. Israel is shooting most Iranian missiles down. Simply put Iran will need to fire another 200-300 missiles at Israel before some of them start falling through. It is believed Iran doesn't have many missiles to reach Israel because those missiles take longer to produce and are much more costly. Israel and US are also actively targeting Iranian launch sites and missile storage sites.

Israeli defenses allow missiles in if radar trace shows it will hit an empty street or ground. So as to not waste interceptor missile on it.

But Hypersonics can go through Israeli defenses easily, so might as well focus monthly and weekly BM production on Fatah 1 and Fatah 2 Hypersonics for now.

Iran will have to target hubs and communications nodes... to get more effective... however my guess is that their priority is to exhaust the AD batteries ... communications and airstrips should have been right there on the top of the list IMO...

Also if the Iraqis can take out the US base, it would be a huge step towards keeping Kurds away from Iran. There seems to be a lot of attacks going on specifically on the Iraqi base, ever since the US started attack on Iranian border posts that keep out the Kurds.

Israeli AF has a strong capability that can't be underestimated.

They may be better than US AF in some regards (such as targeting AA), quality wise.

They have a lot of practice doing this and have done many simulated exercises for it.

but they have no bombers and very little refueling capabilities, their pilots get exhausted and tired. Last time they could not sustain runs at Iran for more than a few days.

Iran is playing a clever game

US Arleigh Burke Destroyers have 96 missiles in their Vertical Launch Systems (VLS)
Those VLS can only be reloaded in 2 locations , Bahrain home to the US 5th Fleet and Deigo Garcia

Well Bahrain is out of the question because its been hit and Deigo Garcia is 3500km away
So once those VLS are empty those destroyers will have no self defence

They will become sitting ducks for Iranian anti ship missiles

US thought they could take out the leader of Iran and the Iranian people would rise up
Who would anyone think that American and Israel would care about Muslims in an Islamic country like Iran

That failed and now US has not plan B

This can go very wrong for US and Israel

It's not gonna be good if their jets strike all of Iranian AA. Iran is hiding much of its AA or doing on/off procedures to keep them from being detected. Israel is trying to sniff all of them.

The goal is to gain air superiority to start targeting regime symbolic sites and figures within 2 weeks or so. And humiliate the regime and then start trying to foment a revolution.

I'm sure IR is not underestimating Israel and is taking it seriously. But Israel has limited time because US and Trump admin don't want this to go on for too long.

What if the US no longer has any airbases left in the GCC?

Pakistan is currently bombing former NATO bases in Afghanistan, and I wonder if that's being done to deny US/Zion the use of those bases in the future.

US is doing the bombers part

And is doing the refueling Israeli jets for them

US letting Israel take lead here is not just for political reasons to avoid domestic backlash over war at home

Israeli AF is more suited for mission because GCC won't allow US jets and troops to wage the war from their territories

But I don't think Israel alone can trigger regime change. It would have to be the US jumping in, in some big way.

No idea if US has enough conventional firepower in region to do that.

In the end they could just make agreement with Iran and walk away for later date. Iran would be severely weakened but would have established some level of deterrence and IR would have survived.

They aren't going after small systems

It is not a big threat to them

But yes agree on your last point
