It matters in the same way that declaring a false nationality is technically not allowed on this forum. We need to hear real opinions of real people rather than fake accounts trying to spread disinformation.
In fact, now the bulk of posts on social media are AI bots or paid operatives. Even videos and photos are fake. It’s gettin harder to find anything genuine.

I agree fake accounts and disinformation are wrong and should not be allowed. But the content of a message should be read as such rather than filtered through background of the author. If I am for or against Iran war, and state my reasons, that should stand (or fall) on its merit (or lack of it). Not on who I am.
