Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Agree on mitigation. But what mitigations? I have tried to answer in my post.
Problem, we do things on the fly so strategic gaps remain and keep widening.

Pls start some meaningful discourse. Nudge better thinkers than me in this forum
We (our thinkers, scholars, planners) should had started yesterday, but here we go.
unity historically has always come through force, one state/caliphate/empire conquered the rest and established a unified/organized system.

prior to the seljuks when there was too much multiplicity, and the arabs were constantly infighting, you had the same situation as today with the crusades and the loss of jerusalem.

the idea that you are going to get many rival power centers and harmonize them is fanciful thinking. The West is only united because its united under the force of the US Government, before that it was in a state of total war. Look at the EU as the US retreats, it is a strategic mess facing extreme difficulty coalescing upon strategic decisions.

China had to go through its civil war to achieve its unity.

In the last two years, I've not seen any political scientist within the Islamic world approach the topic of Gaza with the inaction of 1.8 billion Muslims; no criticism within their own regimes. This alone tells people what they need to know.

Two years? This has been the case for decades and decades, because we ostracize and ridicule anyone who talks calm rationality rather than overly zealous emotionality in dealing with such issues (including on PDF).

I agree; I purposely chose the two years, as for many of our compatriots, their recall of historical events is limited.

Why trying to elect a new supreme leader in middle of war?

They targeted the meeting 😐

Stupid actions have consequences

Their actions during a time of national crises is TREACHERY, they deserve pain and punishment for this

Personally not a fan of that approach. But if you're trying to protest during a war on your country then you're actually demented and a true traitor, unlike legitimate protestors that were protesting about other things.

Except when it comes to reliving romanticized past fables of Islamic glory from centuries ago.

We can see the results in Gaza and now Iran over the past two years. Like it or not, that is what reality looks like.
