So it was actually a Kuwaiti FA-18 that downed the F-15s, first Air to Air to loss for the F-15 although since it came from friendly fire it doesn't count.

That Kuwaiti pilot was probably on his cell phone talking to his favorite mistress while drinking bepsi with one foot on the HUD.

Iraqi militias were firing missiles and drones at Kuwait. US jets were also flying from Israel through Iraqi to get to Iran. US jets were avoiding AA fire from Iraq or just near border with Kuwait. Kuwait forces confused them for missile fire from Iraq
