I think Iran is finally calling America’s bluff. The U.S. is overstaying its welcome, trying to revive an influence that’s already dead. They aren't the giants everyone feared, and as we’re seeing now, they can’t even protect themselves, let alone anyone else. It’s time to wake up: the bully is out of breath

My point was - Iran can hit soldiers or respected targets and they are up in arms and going mental. When they murder little children in schools - they just brush it away. Its disgraceful how they minimalise this.

You woke up a tad too late now buddy. F around, now find out. This war will eclipse the war in 1991, 2001,and 2003 in the Middle East.

This Democratic US Senator is calling it 'deeply unpopular, immoral and illegal war on Iran'. He is right on those things except Democrats have been playing a cynical game: Didn't oppose the war to displease AIPAC and waiting for the war to go bad to hurt Trump. Politicians are such hypocrites and opportunists--and in most of the world.
I dont see much hope in the Congressional moves like the votes on War Powers Act. Trump has rarely backpaddled unless tremendous pressure on moves like the ICE raids in Minneapolis. He figures out way around by using his Executive Power.
So much so for a 'democracy'

There is lots of running commentary but we need to do is:
Do we just lament or comment?
How to end this war?
How to stop this divide and destroy?

That's a good question.

There are only going to be 1 out of 2 ways out of this mess.

Either both sides concede and stand down, or we are going to see one major conflict in the Middle East that makes George W Bush look like a saint.

The best case scenario is either Trump or Iran did something else to each other and declared victory and stopped, or Iran took the high road and stopped (the notion of Trump taking the high road is a joke to me) worst-case scenario is that Iran can't get over the death of Khemeni and Trump won't back down from the tantrum he was throwing, then this war keep going with Israel fanning the heat. Israel won't stop because that is a part of Nethanyahu move to cling to power (Which I said right after Oct 7 when people laughed at me, and now it's almost 3 years later and still he is in charge).

If this is not resolved, then this will just keep escalating. And I don't see any other way this war is going away, hell, I see it even when what I said becomes true, this war is still not going away. We are just putting it on the back burner for the next 2 years, 10 months.

But well, let's hope cooler heads prevail
