Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

But he is biased and not objective as attacking party of war, so all he said has to be draged through aggressor lences.
So are you suggesting that if a member of ISIS or Al Qaeda were to join and post their views, that they would be more objective?

Well US and its allies may run out of interceptors even before Iran runs out of BMs. Even if Iran does run out of BMs, they can endlessly produce the killer drones. Those are not very complex or expensive but they can keep US forces out of their bases indefinitely, disrupt entire oil supply, reduce US interests and personal presence in the region and can end the war on Iran's terms.

The cost of war, ammunition, allies pressure, US investments, interests in region, US consulates, embassies, CIA stations in whole of the region is on stand still. Even US companies like Amazon were targeted. US do not have time with itself. Its warships which have exhausted their missiles can't even reload at sea. Iran has time with itself. All that noise of regime change, cutting head of the snake, communication jamming, EW and what not as per US / Israeli statements seems to have not much effect over Iran. US was hoping a quick action by first massive strikes to subdue Iran but they have no solution now. What they really wanted to achieve? Make Iran less of a threat by regime change ? or by finishing its offensive capabilities? Well, Iran's regime is going nowhere and it has become and will become even bigger of a threat then it ever was. Whenver its over, they will prepare for next confrontation with even more determination and furiosity.

Iran has built itself with this kind of war. It has enormous stamina to absorb bombing campaigns. It's command structure is decentralized that's why they are able to hit back so hard at such wide scale without even blinking. US spectacularly failed to eliminate Taliban in 20 years and Trump thinks it can remove IRGC ? Its not South America.
Well, Trump may run out of patience and nuke Iran himself if we are talking about "may" or "may not"........Who knows, he is crazy enough to do it, so it "may" happen.

The issue here is what Iran can achieve by lobbing missiles in the Middle East or Israel? Well, we had heard a lot about what the US can achieve by sending missiles to Iran, but nobody put the same question in reverse. So what exactly can Iran achieve here?

To start, Israel is not going to just go away, regardlessof how many missiles or drones Iran lob at them, you either have to be extremely naive or extremely stupid (or both) to believe otherwise. The fight is always on, whether or not Iran will fold, because I know for a fact if Iran can actually push Israel to the point they are at the brink of collapsing, they are going to nuke everyone. Isn't it is the exact reason why iran want nuclear weapons in the first place to begin with?

So, what change? Let's wait for the next time IDF or Trump have an itch on their arse and lob some missile at them, and call it successful when it all returns to this status quo? It didn't feel like a win to me if you ask me.

Scott Horton, a libertarian, is one of my favorites for Middle Eastern geopolitics. Not only he has knowledge from history but also knows about the history, deployments and postures of various regional countries and militias. He is one of those rare ones whose knowledge even includes Pakistan and Afghanistan conflicts, though he is a bit dated on that part. A man can only have so much time.

In this relatively short video, in the context of this conflict, the main topic is the 'Armageddon' like religiosity to motivate attacks on Iran, plus he is also discussing the enhanced Turkish role in Syria, which pits Turkey as part of a Sunni coalition against Israel, which includes a 'nuclear Pakistan'. Plus, interestingly, he brings up how the former Israeli PM Mr. Naftali Bennet contributed to the 9/11 attack.

These are full of shit just extended propaganda, they have air superiority from day one for their air planes.

This brother , is reminiscent of the Vietnam war . America went into that war gung-ho and was very confident of an absolute victory but with time it became evident that the Vietcong weren’t gonna be pushovers we know what happened they eventually kicked them out the invaders. Americans picked on the wrong 😑 country Iran.

In comparation with active or former member of usa crusader army it would be tough choice to make.

AZ_HighCountry is far from a crusader. If you only knew how he has helped identify and counter a potential Far Right white nationalist on PDF.

How will Iran enforce this blockade, their navy has been destroyed and they can't hide SSM launchers from prying satellites that close to the strait.
Iran has hidden underground naval bases with thousands of armed speed boats and smaller size vessels armed with short range anti ship missiles.

Then what about some of the other members participating in this thread who are either current or former .mil? Do their views and experiences bring less or more to the discussion?

You yourself have already confirmed your bias by rejecting what @j_hungary brings to the discussion.

Try to be objective and step away from all that.

The war so far seems to be a disaster for US and Israel, because neither of them are able to completely dominate Iran or any specific aspect of the war with Iran:

Air superiority - not achieved but claimed. US and israel are losing drones like MQ9 at too fast a rate to sustain their effective use over 🇮🇷

Strategic land based radars- mostly destroyed, leading to situational "blindness"- a big disadvantage in a fight against iran.

Air bases to operate against iran- all close ones are destroyed, only far ones in India are available.

Naval dominance- not in place.
Keeping strait of hormuz open- US cant achieve it.

Land forces to use against iran- only visible on pdf, doesnt exist in reality in iran or it's border areas.

Internal saboteurs- only a few left not potemt and organized like before.

Regional and eruropean allies- incapacitated by iran early on, incompetent and unmotivated yo fight 🇮🇷.

EVERYBODY underestimated how effectively🇮🇷 could disrupt the middle east and world.

For land forces only viable entry and border is trhough pakistan as its the least mountainous part of the border

Rest is not possible too mountainous

Air Superiority is Mixed (Success in Airstrikes but cant sustain sorties fully + 3 F-15 downed and a potential 4th one)

I believe that if the Arab world manages to survive the current crisis—which I find doubtful—there will be a massive push for nuclear proliferation. It seems likely that every nation in the region will seek nuclear weapons for protection, having lost faith in American security guarantees. Furthermore, if you follow Professor Jiang’s analysis, his explanation of Iran’s strategic targets and motivations makes the current situation much clearer
end of the road for the Persians and the arabs.
