Oh, you are suggesting nukes options as a sign you are agreeing that US / Israel cannot defeat Iran conventionally ? I agree!
I wonder why you asked what Iran wants to achieve by lobbying missiles at Israel. Its Israel which has attacked Iran every single time, what do you want Iran to do? if not kill Israelis in return? Life comes to stand still, million dollars interceptors are fired, and sometimes missile do penetrate and hit facility or kill Israelis. Iranians take their revenge which anyone would do.
Anyways, Israel is an artificial colonial outpost. Its survival is only possible because of US / west backing. We don't even need to nuke Israel. Not today, but its end is inevitable, "so much for its not going anywhere". China's inevitable rise is happening in front of everyone, its rapidly advancing to become a super power, the day US can no longer hold the weight of Israel's crimes (due to other priorities), it will be decline for Israel and in that situation if it gets into war against Turkey or Iran all you will see Israeli population fleeing. They came via ships and will leave as soon it will become unlivable and no super power behind its back. Even today, when US is fully supporting it and they both are doing joint attacks Israel is vulnerable.
First of all, what is conventional? Again, as you said, whenever there is a slight number of things like Netanyahu about to be impeached or Trump wants to divert attention from the Epstein file, Israel and the US attack Iran, and they call it successful after returning to the status quo? Is that winning? That's called being a punching bag. Sure, you punch back, and Israel and the US may bruise up a bit, but again, is that a win in your case? I mean, how long has Trump still be in office? 2 years 10 months? (he leaves on Jan 21 2029), on average there are an attack on iran every 10 months, there are still 34 months to go, should we expect another 3?
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying or suggesting Iran to give up or roll over to Israel, but when I was in the miltiary studying Military Science, every war has to come with a strategical consideration, there are something you want to achieve by starting that war and that war is the way you try to achieve said goal, and trust me when I say this, that consideration is not trying to avoid an impeachment, or trying to hide some dirty secert.
This war, as I said time and again, is meaningless; you may as well just burn money that would save a lot of people a lot of sorrow. The issue here is not a single side can achieve anything on the other side. When this happens, we all go back to square one. Even when Iran had nukes, then what? The best outcome is for Iran not to get destroyed, because that didn't change the fact that Israel still has its own nukes, and they will take everyone down if they are threatened. So again, do tell me, what would this war do to anything at all?
Sometimes, policy and diplomacy are the only solutions, and that's coming from a soldier's point of view, I mean, sure, you want to chase all the glory, killing a bunch of Israelis, and then what? This is not going to end, and this is not a zero-sum game.
