Pressure can be exerted far better with precision munitions. Creating wholesale chaos is utterly unnecessary in a country with 93 million people.

Decapitation and controlling choke points in infrastructure will suffice for enough pressure, for the time being. The real pressure has done its job via sanctions already. This is just the endgame in play.

A question for military analysts on this thread:

We are indeed witnessing the "Houthification" of Iran.

The Mullahs and IRGC had planned for this all along. But at what point will Trump and Israel stop attacking and accept that they can't defeat Iran by just bombing and destroying their military?

Oil has reached around 81 per barrel at the time of this writing. But at what economic marker will Trump and Israel give up bombing and accept a defeat? At 120 per barrel? 200?

What's your opinion?

It will take months before Trump gives up, probably between 2 and 3. That's what happened with the Houthis. I feel its Hegseth and CIA who really really wanted this war, alongwith the Israelis off course. Trump's ego and faltering political ratings will not allow him to cut his losses right now.

No but this is paving the way for Azeri-Turkish troops to take that portion of Iran under the guise of protecting Azeris.

Given the vulnerabilities Iran is facing, if the leaders in Tehran can just take out the country from chaos with territorial integrity intact, i will declare them victorious.

Hmm, some new developments are Hezbollah has become active and is now fighting the Israelis and Mr Trump, in his frustration has now reached out to Kurdish militants in northern Iraq to launch a ground invasion of northern Iran.

Else Iran is continuing to hit same targets although the rate of missile fire has dropped. An Iranian frigate was also sunk today near Sri Lanka by a US submarine.

Oh and there is contradictory reporting regarding GCC where some say they are almost out of missile interceptors and others say GCC is about to launch an offensive against Iran.

Craziest bit of news is the Israeli air force may deploy to GCC to defend it.

I will be posting less due to personal reasons, plus I doubt anyone takes my thoughts seriously anyway!

Momentum is < from Iran. Or appears that way, we cannot see what Iran has achieved on the naval front but certainly the Americans can show us what they have achieved.

They are however keeping their prime assets out of reach.

Iran did the right things by pounding their bases in the region. This will cause a logistics nightmare further down the line. Reports indicating they are having to use indian facilities. Hopefully, the bases will be completely obliterated in the coming days. Try to understand what removing the 5th fleet infrastructure from the map means....it's significant.

This is causing grief to the Americans and internal chaos is manifesting by contradictory, bizarre and incoherent statements by the them, such as "we did not start this war". Imagine what the war planners are going through knowing THEIR FOOTPRINT in the ME is getting smaller and smaller.

The last few waves by the Americans over Tehran have been huge. I don't think they are hitting anything meaningful in Tehran now, it is pure terrorism and is in fact the dictionary definition of terrorism....Read it up, because I doubt many actually know the definition of terrorism. The positives are that those shock and awe scenes do not translate into the destruction of a strategic asset.

Positives:

- Most analysts agree America cannot "win" but we also know Americans loosing means more of you than them will die....

- America and Israel appear alone. Europeans are limiting their assistance, including Britain despite the drone strike on RAF Akrotiri cyprus....this is likely an Israeli false flag anyway to drag the British in but it's not gaining traction....perhaps the intelligence services know it was an Israeli false flag hence the silence.

- the Arabs uncovered Israeli false flag operatives in their own lands. This will further antagonise the Arabs against them.

- HB back in action over northern Israel. This is not good at all for Israel. They are taking out tanks and their missiles are once again pounding northern Israel.

- I believe the Iranians when they say they haven't yet used all their capabilities. This is likely going to be a long war.

- After a week, Iran can still fire a significant number of missiles and doesn't appear to be using their underground launch sites. I honestly thought the Americans could stop that from happening on day 1.....

Finally I do believe an aircraft carrier or two being taken out of commission would be a great outcome...

I fully support your oppinion.
But let me even more explicit.

1.- It is a ilegal war (something It is not said enough), launched by initiative of Israel with a vast majority of US against It.

2.- The key was an uprising from inside. But those bastards gave weapons and outside instructions nearly two months before. That means that opositors were dismantled well before this war.

3.- Apart from deleting Islamic Republic and isolating China more, they're whitewashing a GENOCIDE, because while you're talking about Human Rights, they're hidding the human cleansing ongoing not only in Gaza but also in West Bank.

All in all that makes even more repugnant the real target of this fucking crazy war.

Finally you can see how the Masters of Social media are deleting posts and cancelling accounts in those social media.

Ironically if Islamic Republic resist, this can outturn the war and maybe the one who could be eventually overthrowned is Trump if as you well suggested the US internal oppinion starts to be organized.
