• Land capture in Lebnon-Syria
• Keep Turkey/Azerbaijan out , of conflict till Iran is knocked out
• Attack on weakened Saudi Arabia
• Turkey /Egypt are also a viable target
• Denuclearized Pakistan a major Zionist objective

The attack on Turkey's oil pipeline are long term strategy to weaken Turkey, a weak Turkey is not favourable to Iran because it helps KURDS or PKK become stronger in region

Actually, insurance at a reasonable rate is a bigger deal than USN escort, especially if it also extends to non-US flagged ships.

I live on a thickly wooded acreage property and if all the trees were to be turned into $100 bills and stuffed into suitcases to 'buy influence' overseas in militias, govts, politicians, media, spies ... oh how easy! And there wouldn't even be any 'inflation' in America from such actions. And the trees would grow back on my property.
