Have you ever seen the submunitions hit anything? In the videos I’ve seen, they just dissapear

They disappear because they slow down as they enter the atmosphere and the plasma around their heat shields cools. No heat = no visibility

Assuming they are 80 munitions they weight likely between 5kg-20kg which naturally won’t be visible on a cell phone camera from tens of KMs away once the heat dissipates
