no one knows real number. could be anything from 5-20 in my opinion.

in any case, given the needed 12 for Fordow, which is only 50-60m under mountains, they have no hope of using GBU-57s to destroy 30+ SSM bases under 100-500m of mountains. some bases have mountain overburden of 800 metres at the highest point ... they can only temporarily block the entrances, as usual.

Why would they build fordow only 50-60m underground, if the missile cities are 100-500m deep?

I don't think Iran attacked Azerbaijan even if the drone footage is a solid proof against it

So far Iran admitted all its attacks on PGCC and has a history of admitting attacks directly after they are executed, the only exception being Aramco in 2019

What is the point of Iran suddenly denying an attack it allegedly did on Azerbaijan? Why hide specifically for Azerbaijan and not PGCC? This doesn't add up

here is one example I just measured now.

elevation at tunnel entrance level: 1570m
elevation at peak mountain overburden (only 1km from the entrance): 2310m

do the maths.



as for 6 main bases, don't make me laugh. I won't show them all, but there are many more than that, as evidenced by the fact that 6 days of non stop all out strikes by Israel and the US on these bases every day has not stopped Iran from firing Khorramshahr-4 missiles for the first time today.

100 GBU-57s is a fantasy number. but even if it were true, that's still nowhere near enough.

New satellite images from several key military bases in the Arabian Peninsula suggest that Iran is seeking to degrade air defenses by destroying US-made radars that detect incoming missiles and drones.

The radar system for an American THAAD missile battery in Jordan was struck and apparently destroyed in the first days of the US-Israeli strikes on Iran, a satellite image taken on Monday shows.

Buildings housing similar radar systems were also hit at two locations in the United Arab Emirates, CNN analysis shows, although it is unclear if the equipment was damaged.

The radar is a critical element for the high-end missile interceptor system, which is used to engage and destroy ballistic missiles as they fly toward their target. The US operates eight THAAD batteries, while the UAE operates two and Saudi Arabia one. This one was at the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, over 500 miles from Iran.

The radar system for THAADs is the AN/TPY-2 transportable radar, manufactured by Raytheon. According to a 2025 Missile Defense Agency budget, it costs just shy of half-a-billion dollars.

The image shows a pair of 13-foot craters in the sand near the radar, suggesting that it may have taken multiple attempts to hit the system, which is split across five 40-foot trailers. All appeared to be destroyed or seriously damaged.

It may not be the only THAAD radar struck in the opening days of the war with Iran.

At least three buildings at a military installation near Ruwais, and four at an installation in Sader, both in the UAE, were damaged between February 28 and March 1. Pull-through vehicle sheds used to store radar systems for THAAD batteries at both sites were among the buildings struck.

There is definitely something off with early radar.

Israel will give early warning but Iranian missiles hit 1-2 mins later. Before, the standard was consistently 5-7 minutes or so.

Because he’s greatly exaggerating. Missile halls are widely believed to be 30M-100M deep.

Not even Pick Axe Mountain is 250M underneath a mountain.
