This is not another task. This was the primary task and only reason to attack Iran. I was saying this when first time we heard "armada" going towards Iran. I knew attack is inevitable, no amount of talks can revert it and nuclear issue or protestors issues were only excuses. The primary threat Israel felt from Iran was its Ballistic missile program. Israel wanted to take it away from Iran and also stop it from advancing to more modern missiles.

This is all about Iran's missiles which are able to reach Israel. Can't believe so many posts about the Iranian nukes in this thread. Forget getting the JCPOA, Iran would have accepted a JCPOA 2 with all conditions except giving up the missile.
And some here were playing down the importance of the original JCPOA. Well, here we are!

It is not stupid crap
These types are for early warning and typically don't detect low altitude and slow speed targets.
They are vulnerable to low altitude low speed threats

Why are people saying iran is attacking Arab countries. They are not! They are attacking the american bases and personnel based there. And those are legit targets. The war started because they allowed their ports and air space to be used. So iran has every right to destroy their bases. The radars and anti missile equipment are also based there. They too are legit targets for iran because iran has to hit Israel. So stop staying iran is attacking arab countries. The moment the Americans leave and they have no essential equipment their, iran will stop bombing those targets. And honestly, iran would prefer sending all their missiles to Israel and the american naval assets out at sea. So the quicker the arabs realise this and throw out the Americans the better it will be for the region.
