Ofcourse, that Iranian island is their target.
US envision those as future US bases. But that is only possible if IRGC is completely defeated which is not the case for now.

No, not 'bitter' at all. I admire that the Iran of 1979 tried to help the Palestinians on behalf of the global Muslim community. It was ambitious knowing they were facing a Super Power but still admirable.
As for Pakistan... it would be offtopic but I'd still say Pakistan is more than a match to India not only militarily but also the apparent quality of life.
