But Syrian President should've never said we support Lebanese government disarming Hezbollah. Because this way Syria is now involved in an internal Lebanese affair. When it never needed to be.

Keep in mind Syrians and Lebanese don't get along. Lebanese people are not waiting for Syrian army to free them. It's better for Syrians brothers to not interfere in their internal affairs and continue focusing on securing their country.

Syria + Lebanon+ Iran all need economic relief.

If Iran stops now, iran will lose because in 6 months or a year they will do it again. It will only be a pause to reconfigure the Israeli/US defense systems that collapsed and no longer exist, and then Iran will be attacked again, with more wars and more color revolutions. They are using other countries to pressure for an end to the war; Iran must not give in. If it accepts this, it will be the end of Iran.

They will be back as long as Trump is in office. I don’t know if Iran can continue fighting for 3 more years.

I sincerely hope so!

However, please note that Trump is now a proven liar, launched a surprise attack on Iranians during a peace consultation, is very likely to be involved in past child trafficking, and is a known manipulator of stock markets by deploying false claims.

For all these reasons, and possibly some more that I can't think of, he could be lying about wanting a short war.

I do not hold out much hope for a short war. Iran has a plan for the long fight and should stick to it.
