Breaking | US envoy reportedly seeks contact with Iran on ceasefire, Tehran refuses

The Al Jazeera bureau chief in Tehran, Noureddine El-Dghir, reports from reliable sources that US President’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, has attempted to reach Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, aiming to test Tehran’s willingness for a ceasefire.

However, according to the sources, there is currently no Iranian interest in engaging, with another source confirming that Iran’s National Security Council has no discussion at this time regarding halting the war.

I am very doubtful that they have---. I have heard rumors that they received the S400 batteries---but that is all---.

Suppose it is an upgraded B52---with an aesa radar---. Can you imagine how big the radar would be---how TR modules---how severe its jamming capabilities would be---.

Iran should not accept any ceasefire. All the lives lost will be for nothing.

They will come back in a year to finish the job.

Iran needs to end this on Iran's term. Either lifting of sanctions and or nuclear bomb in hand.
