Best explanitaion of iranian missile bases. Anyonen who has been watching videos/docs on iranian underground/mountain missile cities knows that they have built an engineering marvel. Exact number of these cities and number of missiles are unknown and far above then western estimates as Orange buffon himself accepted.

With C17s now operating unchallenged in Gulf Airspace I think we can safely presume that the threat of coastal air defense form Iran is no longer a concern for the US.

All it would take is one lucky strike to change that perception pronto. It would be a mistake to write off the Iranian defenses just yet.

Why exactly is USA human shielding though?

I have not come across any satisfactory explanation. Iran was always only going to be interested in harming US assets while avoiding Arab civilian casualties. Americans knew this and could have very easily put their interests out in the middle of the desert if they wanted a fight with Iran while averting civilian risk.

Iran should declare this for what it is, a highly cynical policy by the Americans.

They are in the middle of Saudi, and I seriously doubt the Saudis would tolerate targeting of this key infrastructure. I think this would be a red line for them.
