I think Iran should be on the lookout for a mini-D-Day scenario, especially with this Call of Duty Adminstration in power.

It’s possible they will try to land US forces in Chabhar port and use that to secure a beach head to expand further along the coastline of Iran to allow warships to get closer and closer and eventually open the strait.



That corner of Iran is the least militarized in terms of land troops. And getting troops and supplies there from the rest of Iran will take time and be very challenging with airspace control lost.

Iran should be very vigilant the next couple weeks as the U.S. maybe preparing for a surprise beachhead attack and maybe not just one location. Maybe one from land from Kuwait as well.

Kharg is relatively small 20sq km island it can definitely be taken by just 2500 marines especially with complete air superiority.

I would be one of those "average" Americans. And while true that I lean right, I'm not at the far end of the spectrum. I hold no more animosity towards Muslims than I would Mormons, or fellow Catholics, or any other religion. All have their extremists just as the everyday population does.

What people are seeing is just that: the extremists. And, given the ability of the MSM to shape opinion, because they know many are too lazy to think on their own, what they are seeing is the extremists all jacked up and they believe that to be representative of the entire society. That is simply not the case.
