They might not know how to fight but when push comes to shove, the fight in the blood of Arabs cannot be discounted. It was the same Arabs which defeated all the super powers of their time, from Rome to Persia.
Anyway, Saudi Arabia might just be compelled to respond because they cannot just continue to keep on taking hits and then when they decide they are going to war, they will not go to war alone; Pakistan will have to join that war.
May be they don't have a choice in this matter whether their territory can be used or not. And that is probably why they are focused on defending instead of attacking. There should absolutely be NO attacks on Iran from US bases in GCC countries. The GCC should have made that abundantly clear as otherwise they would have been legitimate targets.
But my concern is that only Iran is making that statement, that some attacks on Iran have been initiated from GCC states. There is no evidence of this at all. What would the GCC states gain by allowing the US to use the bases in GCC countries to attack Iran and thus invite Iranian attack back on GCC countries? Moreover, GCC countries have repeatedly stated that US bases in their countries are NOT being used to attack Iran and are only used to defend against attacks by Iran (shooting down drones and missiles etc.).
